About the Station

Pinguin World Music is a channel from Pinguin Radio, an Amsterdam-based Dutch internet radio network built as an alternative to the mainstream. Founded in 2012 after KINK FM went off the air, Pinguin Radio grew into one of the larger independent internet radio operations in the Netherlands, with over 100,000 monthly listeners across its channels. Pinguin World is its dedicated home for music from beyond the Dutch and English-language mainstream.

Programming & Sound

The station runs commercial-free and DJ-free, playing continuous playlists curated by music enthusiasts rather than scheduled presenters.
